While primarily frequented for takeout, SAUCED. is recognized as a standout among Kansas City burger spots, celebrated for its dedication to quality and flavor without relying on convenience shortcuts.
I've popped in here once or twice a year since it came to be. Most of the 'customers' tend to be take-away orders but it's quite a nice little courtyard. Without embellishment: They really do take pride in what they serve you. Keep in mind: It is literally a shack in a courtyard. They stick it out during the summer but close up in winter/cold months. They do not have anything prepared in advance so it will, usually, take a bit to make your food.
Been here a few times now since it's closer than the Town Topic alternative for when you want that smashed burger fix. This is better. Yeah, I said it. Even the SALAD you can order is topping heavy and the lemon vinaigrette they supply is outstanding. The burgers are awesome, I don't know what cheese they stock but it's great. Huge I'm talking 5 Guys HUGE portions of hot ass fresh fries. Ventured out the other day for the fried chicken sandwich and it was so juicy I should have got the bun on the side just to walk 5 minutes home. Not complaining, that's 6-star behavior. Sure, it's hard to locate and I've seen taco trucks bigger than this but whatever they're doing I'm happy they keep doing it. MMB sauce and the house ketchup are hits.
Absolutely amazing food! Hidden Gem! All homemade sauces and seasonings. Top Quality meats and potatoes. Fluffy and tasty fries. Insanely delicious Ketchup. The nicest staff. RUN! Don’t walk to go try this one of a kind burger and fry spot!!!
I’ve been there twice now and have plans for our next visit to this wonderful burger place. For starters, the service is very, very good. The tables are all outdoors and food is served and cooked from a stationary food truck sized building. We’ve been treated exceptionally well both times. The burgers are cooked to perfection. We’ve gotten the single-hand burger. Fries are abundant. I’ll advise that you share them with someone else. Unless you like fries a lot, you will be overwhelmed by the amount that you get in each order. The sauce for the fries or a combination of ketchup and barbecue sauce, which is very very delicious. When I get a craving for a hamburger, this is where I will go.
I don't often leave 5 stars because perfection to me us hard in anything and I own several businesses myself so I truly know. Sauced KC is going to give Kansas City burger joints a run for their money. My wife and I have followed the owners since COVID and been very impressed with their outcome. The Pitch Burger Week final brought us downtown to try Sauced. It's a little hard to find if you don't know where to look. Once you find parking (only real shortcoming if you ask me). Find Corvino Super Club and its right behind in the alley next to the bank. Once you walk into from the street between the huge metal gates you will see the quaint little building housing the staff of Sauced KC. Dine is outdoors only so plan accordingly. The run out of brisket and wings fast also so again don't expect to show up at 7pm and get the meats lol. The staff was very friendly and helpful to help us build out meal. The house made sauce was bomb! The fries had a ton of flavor! And then the burger oh my the burger! The patties were cooked perfectly. The bacon was crispy. The buns and everything we heavenly. My wife had the chicken sandwich and she said it was also fantastic! I hope the team at Sauced changes the menu now and then and added drinks to the menu, but otherwise I can truly see then being in it to win it. I grew up on staples in KC like Town Topic and I honestly think Sauced could hang! Give it a try you won't be sorry. Follow up on Instagram @TrillianEats for more details and other reaturants.
Tasty food, very cozy outdoors. The Two Hand with pepper jack cheese was delicious 10/10. Buffalo sauce wings were great as well. Quick and flavorful, bang for buck.
This place was sooo good! I had their spicy lemon pepper wings, and my bf had the 2 hand, and the fries were big enough to share 1. Also, they're decently priced. It's not really a restaurant, but they do have a beautiful sit-down area with tables and cute hanging chairs.
Talk about a hole-in-the-wall! I couldn't find them even with Google maps trying to guide me. This humble shack situated in the courtyard between the Acadamy Bank and an office building off of 19th Street, and hides one of the best burgers in Crossroads. They also boast the best chicken, which I've heard is excellent. I got their one handed burger, and it's larger than what the name suggests. I also really enjoyed how thick the meat is. Their fries are extra, but there's more than enough to share with a friend. The courtyard features standing tables and places sit for lunch, but depending on how busy it gets you can easily take it to go.
